Overview

Maxar is a US-based space technology company specialising in Earth observation, radar and satellites. Despite its reputation in legacy space technology, Maxar faced a challenge of limited awareness regarding its advanced next-gen 3D imaging satellite technology. To address this, a new sub-brand was proposed, renaming ‘Precision 3D’ to ‘Maxar 3D’ to leverage the brand equity of the parent company. A brand campaign was also developed to boost awareness, centred around the concept of “Answers From Every Angle.” This concept highlights how Maxar’s 3D solutions empower scientists, engineers, emergency personnel and technologists to uncover truths and solve complex problems from all perspectives.

Broader Visual Language

Taking cues from object detection in AI, which generates rectangular boxes known as classifiers, we incorporated this visual motif into the image layouts to reflect Maxar’s integration of AI in their 3D satellite imaging technology.

Uniquely ‘Maxar 3D’ Generated Profile

Utilising Maxar’s satellite technology and AI/Machine learning, we created a photobooth kiosk at industry events where people can experience first-hand on Maxar 3D innovative 3D imaging technology. By imputing their details, the kiosk uses GPS tracking to pull in Satellite imagery that generates a profile image through a mosaic effect. This image can be shared on social media channels, spreading the word about Maxar 3D and also allow the users to become part of the ‘Answers From Every Angle’ campaign.
