Overview

Manly is a charming and relaxed seaside village just 30 minutes from the bustle of Brisbane’s CBD. Inspired by the local character of the region, 191 Stratton is a premium residential precinct that is a fresh yet respectful addition to the neighbourhood. The development features two main buildings that contains a collection of 43 contemporary apartments, ground floor retail facilities, gym, pool and green outdoor areas.

Targeting investors and owner-occupiers (predominately downsizers in the 50-65 year demographic), DeMartini Fletcher required a brand and marketing campaign to promote the sophisticated nautical lifestyle of the Manly region.

Solution

The positioning ‘Manly’s most iconic address’ was developed to highlight the convenience and close walking distance to everything that is iconic of Manly – bay, marinas, entertainment, restaurants/bars, shops and craft markets. The ‘iconic’ theme was further explored in the development of the identity and marketing collateral.

Logo

Paying homage to the nautical culture of Manly, the symbol is inspired by the white face heron which is an iconic seabird of the region. The two birds in the logo represent the two buildings on the precinct and the inclusion of ‘191’ in the symbol highlights the street number. The colour palette was inspired by the local Moreton Bay coast.

Marketing Collateral

A bespoke lifestyle photography shoot was art directed to highlight the iconic features of the Manly region. The visual and written language also captures the nautical culture of the Manly region and architectural design of the precinct.
